Tiello has partnered with a leading General Contractor in the Richmond, VA area on their search for an Superintendent to lead ground-up construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, high-quality project completion, coordinating with subcontractors and managing site operations.


Job Title: Construction Superintendent


Project Types: Schools, Multi-family, \


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications.
  • Safety & Quality Control: Enforce safety standards (OSHA), conduct inspections, and uphold quality throughout the project.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and support subcontractors and field staff, maintaining a productive and positive work environment.
  • Budget & Schedule Tracking: Monitor progress, control costs, and address issues to prevent delays or budget overruns.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, addressing concerns and keeping them updated.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-7 years as a Superintendent in multifamily or commercial construction.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and management software (e.g., Procore).
