What You'll Do:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Coordinator to be the operational backbone of our growing company. In this pivotal role, you will oversee critical HR functions, support employee engagement initiatives, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your expertise in managing sensitive information, streamlining processes, and supporting employee needs will help foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Support: Process bi-weekly payroll, audit for accuracy, and resolve payroll-related issues to ensure employees are compensated accurately and on time.
- Employee Engagement: Plan and execute engaging company events, coordinate bi-weekly team lunches, and support initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage the onboarding process, including creating an exceptional first-day experience, facilitating orientation, and ensuring smooth offboarding processes.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, handling enrollments, changes, and terminations, while answering employee inquiries.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Policies and Procedures: Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Leave Administration: Track and record employee leave, including PTO and FMLA, while ensuring adherence to policies and regulations.
- Employee Communication: Prepare and disseminate internal communications, such as newsletters, to keep employees informed and engaged.
- HR Projects: Collaborate on HR projects, including creating initiatives to enhance the employee experience and support organizational growth.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of HR experience with a demonstrated ability to manage HR operations effectively.
- 1+ year of payroll processing experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and employee support.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with HR software and systems.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for creating a positive workplace culture.
