Description:

  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of Continuous Improvement projects that include reduction in cycle times, reduction in scrap, the improvement of processes, etc.
  • Assist in lean methodology and leading lean manufacturing initiatives and programs throughout the plant such as workflow improvement, 5S, workstation efficiency, etc.
  • Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
  • Work with program management team members in order to meet new program launch timing.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Complete capacity analysis documentation for customers.
  • Complete run at rate documentation.
  • Create and enter new work centers, routings, production versions into SAP.
  • Review facility utilization (i.e. presses, welders, leak testers, etc.) with production to establish capacity & capital requirements.
  • Develop and maintain production rates for assembly and Injection mold products.
  • Support OEE and electronic reporting system maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain work centers, routings and production versions in SAP.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Experience in plastic molding & assembly preferred.
  • Experience in C.A.D. is required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering is required.
  • Warehouse Operations or Outbound Logistics experience is required.
  • SAP is preferred.


Details:

  • This is a 5–6 month Project, a short-term, contract position. It is 100% on-site in Murfreesboro, TN.
  • 2 positions: 1 - Warehouse Operations, 1 - Outbound Logistics.
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Pay: $50-60/hour BOE
  • This is a W-2 position; no C2C/B2C. Local candidates preferred.
