Marine Engineering Estimator

A leading marine construction and dredging firm is seeking an Estimator to review, interpret and estimate scope of work as described in the project bid documents, including engineering plans and specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare estimate for marine construction projects using HCSS
  • Analyze construction plans, perform on-screen take-offs
  • Develop project schedules with knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Construction Engineering or related
  • 5-10 years of experience estimating for Marine / Heavy Civil construction
  • MUST have at least heavy civil experience, no building construction experience.
  • Must have HCSS experience. (Estimating software)
