Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development and Architecture:

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports.
  • Architect efficient and scalable data models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Implement best practices in Power BI development and data visualization.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams for seamless data integration and ETL processes.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and data models.

Managerial and Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Power BI developers and analysts.
  • Provide strategic direction for the business intelligence function, aligning with company goals.
  • Oversee project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of BI projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting continuous learning.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and development opportunities.

Business Collaboration and Insight:

  • Work closely with stakeholders, including senior management, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Present data insights and analytics to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

Technical Skills and Expertise:

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with SQL and other database technologies.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse) is a plus.
