Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager at Royal Custom Designs located in Chino, CA. The Project Manager will be responsible for monitoring the production of custom furniture, expediting orders, inspecting finished products, and overseeing logistics management. The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, on budget, and according to our clients' specifications.


Qualifications

  • Oversight of projects from start to finish, juggling multiple tasks and working with diverse personalities, both inside the company and with our customers.
  • Handle information flow between clients and the company, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Obtain drawings and samples from internal staff, and submits drawings and finish samples to clients for approval. Discuss and communicate changes needed per the client or our production department. Redline and edit AutoCAD drawings as needed to facilitate approval.
  • Work with clients to recommend and select specialty items such as hardware, stone, and finishes as well as preparing documents to clients for approval.
  • Responsible for maintenance of the project folder, both paper and networked, as applicable, to include all project-related documents and correspondence.
  • Communicate deadlines to proper departments, and works to see that client deadlines are met.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Daily communication and problem solving.
  • Must work Overtime when needed.
  • Good work ethic and can work well with others.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Have a 2- year college degree in a related Design field or equivalent experience.
  • Be highly organized with great follow through.
  • Have exceptional people skills.
  • Be well-versed in basic furniture design principles and construction techniques.
  • Be able to multiple tasks and work with diverse personalities.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • A field such as interior design, hospitality purchasing, interior architecture, etc.
  • Have effective and articulate written, graphic and oral communication skills.
  • Have a background in and passion for furniture and interior design.
  • Fully proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook software
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
