Role Description: Sr. Scientist, Cancer Epidemiology, M&B Sciences, Inc
This is a full-time remote role for a Cancer Epidemiologist at M&B Sciences, Inc. The Cancer Epidemiologist will be responsible for conducting literature reviews, statistical analysis, disease surveillance, and utilizing analytical skills to assess and understand the burden of cancer at the neighborhood level. The role will also involve applying epidemiological principles to study cancer incidence and prevalence, identifying risk factors, and developing innovative cancer prediction disease models.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in literature reviews, statistics, and disease surveillance
- Proficient in advanced epidemiologic methods and biostatistics
- Experience in conducting epidemiological studies related cancer and disease prevalence preferred
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data management skills
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Strong statistical programming experience, including demonstrated proficiency in SAS and R
- Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment
- A critical, independent, and creative thinker who will work collaboratively with M&B's Spatial Epidemiology Research Team
- PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field preferred with focus in oncology and population health Experienced candidates with MPH or related degree will be considered that have proven experience in cancer epidemiology
- Strong commitment to increasing diversity in oncology related clinical trials
