We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Corporate Development to drive the company's growth strategy through strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and other corporate development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities that align with CSC Generation's long-term objectives.


This position will report into the CEO.


What you get to do every day:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and refine CSC Generation's corporate development strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including target prioritization, operational and financial due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation, and integration planning.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance CSC Generation's competitive position, drive revenue growth, and expand market reach.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential investment opportunities within the retail and consumer sectors.
  • Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment thesis development to evaluate potential M&A targets and partnership opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, investors, and potential partners.
  • Manage the deal execution process, including coordinating cross-functional teams, conducting negotiations, and overseeing legal and financial due diligence.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to develop and execute post-merger integration plans, ensuring seamless transition and realization of synergies.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with potential transactions, and develop mitigation strategies to protect CSC Generation's interests.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.


What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a proven track record of executing complex M&A transactions and strategic partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of the retail and consumer industries, with experience evaluating market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.
  • Strong financial acumen, including proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in the face of ambiguity and complexity.
