The Role:

Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will serve as an essential member of our marketing and sales team. The Vendor Relations Manager (YOU?) must have a business analyst mindset as well as the ability to build and nurture relationships with vendors and distribution partners. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a framework for interactions between vendors and AE Business Solutions. You are the main contact for our Vendor and Channel Managers and must proactively communicate pricing and product changes to internal teams.


A Day in the Life

  • Maintain Vendor CRM database.
  • Responsible for vendor reporting requirements.
  • Work with the sales and technical teams to ensure complete and current vendor certifications.
  • Work with internal quoting and accounting teams to ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze vendor performance data, market trends, and financial information.
  • Work with internal teams to track and maintain renewal information.
  • Work with Operations to ensure contract compliance.
  • Partner with internal Sales, Marketing and Technical teams on a variety of things like, GTM playbooks, blog content and more.
  • Plan and coordinate internal events such as training sessions, workshops, Vendor QBRs, etc.
  • Plan and coordinate external EBCs with Client, Vendor and AEBS.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing teams to provide internal and external content for sales campaigns, webinars, and informational sessions, etc.


What You’ll Need

  1. Associate degree and/or college degree or equivalent experience is required.
  2. 2-5 years of experience in sales environment, working with vendors.
  3. Understands business channel management.
  4. Data analysis and problem solving skills.
  5. Strong preference for experience with IT service providers, vendors.
  6. Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite programs, Canva, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and Google analytics.
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to tailor speaking/writing style to different audiences, and perform group presentations.
  8. Shows adaptability to frequent changes in the work environment, ability to learn new techniques, and change approach or method to best fit the situation.
  9. Possesses strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to develop realistic actions plans, and manage competing demands.
  10. Ability to use discretion in working with highly confidential information.
