Senior Strategy Director – Healthcare Focus

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Strategy Director with expertise in healthcare and a strong background in consulting. This role involves leading strategic initiatives, driving transformative projects, and shaping the direction of our organization’s healthcare-focused endeavors. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to analyze complex problems, craft data-driven strategies, and lead cross-functional teams in delivering impactful solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to address critical business challenges and capture opportunities in the healthcare sector.
  • Evaluate market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to inform long-term organizational strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of healthcare initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Apply consulting methodologies to define project scopes, develop business cases, and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Guide stakeholders through complex problem-solving processes, ensuring clarity and consensus on strategic priorities.
  • Analyze and synthesize data from diverse sources to inform strategy development and monitor the success of implemented solutions.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed financial models, feasibility studies, and performance metrics to evaluate initiative outcomes.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of healthcare systems, payer/provider dynamics, and emerging trends to shape strategic initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships with industry stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurers, and regulatory bodies, to advance organizational objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
  • Foster innovation by identifying and implementing best practices, new technologies, and emerging approaches to enhance business operations.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy development, consulting, or business transformation, with a focus on healthcare.
  • Proven expertise in healthcare industry dynamics, including payer, provider, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and diverse teams.
  • Track record of successfully leading large-scale projects and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Proficiency in strategic frameworks, financial modeling, and project management tools.
