Shift - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.

We are looking for a Communications Specialist. We are looking for a communications professional who can develop engaging communications that help employees feel valued and supported while they deliver sustainable healthcare innovations to everyone, everywhere.

  • Provide support for a full range of employee communications
  • Support the Sr. Director of Internal Communications with a variety of needs, from meeting support to event planning, drafting communications, managing urgent communication needs, and more.
  • Support the Sr. Director of Corporate Communications with a variety of needs including content creation for a variety of internal and external audiences, global meeting attendance as necessary, and editorial calendar management.
  • Plan/create/edit/proof/distribute internal announcements on every topic imaginable, from corporate events to program updates or rollouts, to organization changes, location-based communications, or announcements on a wide variety of topics
  • As needed, layout in YessPress or prepare for Outlook distribution
  • Manage the review cycle and track which documents are in the queue and need to be moved along. Distribute as needed
  • Save/organize the archived messages
  • Support town hall meetings, which are held virtually and in person.
  • Reviewing videos, recommending changes/edits, testing operability
  • Updating comms slides including the Service Anniversary recognition slide, updated once per quarter.
  • Meeting testing/dry runs before the meeting date
  • Periodically review distribution lists with stakeholders to ensure these capture correct names;
  • Help manage the manual process, particularly for Excel distribution lists.
  • Support ongoing updates for the Sharepoint intranet site, Viva Engage, and others as needed. Tracking posts on Viva and LinkedIn that can be repurposed internally
  • Develop and support our Communications Teams site which (will be) accessible to all employees as a repository of information
  • Plan, collect content, edit, layout, and manage review cycle for inside quarterly newsletter
  • Support the product marketing teams when there are global distributions for Product and Services Updates
  • As time allows, support other business leaders with specific communications goals

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Communications or Marketing. 2-4 years of practical experience applying concepts of communications in a professional setting. Experience with communications in the medtech sector or for a large global organization is a plus.
  • Have 2-4 years of experience creating internal and corporate communications in a large corporate setting
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to multitask, stay organized, and be on deadline
  • Use discretion with sensitive topics
  • Exercise professional judgment and problem-solving
  • Have experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 platforms.
  • Experience with internal and corporate event planning is a plus
  • Be a reliable and fun team player
  • Be prepared to work in the office at least three full days per week; flexibility is a must.
  • Travel as needed to other office locations to support communications needs
