Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Gift Operation Store Manager. The Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, visual merchandising, and staff management. The Retail Store Manager will also monitor sales performance, develop and implement store policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all company standards.

Sales & Profit: As a leader, you'll inspire and guide our sales staff to achieve or exceed store sales and profit plans. By providing training, coaching, and effective management, you'll ensure our customers receive top-notch service and experience our signature Service Excellence.

Visual Merchandising: You'll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity by ensuring our merchandise is consistently presented within our visually stunning and merchandising standards. Coordinate timely floor setups for promotional and seasonal activities to captivate our customers' attention.

Shrinkage Control and Loss Prevention: Take charge of maintaining a secure store environment by managing associates and implementing effective shrinkage control and loss prevention measures.

Systems and Procedures: As a dynamic leader, you'll ensure the proper execution of existing systems and procedures while taking ownership of implementing new ones. You'll also play a crucial role in managing price integrity, communicating price changes, and adhering to annual expense budgets to achieve profit goals.

Leadership: Your exceptional leadership skills will shine as you ensure adequate staffing in all departments, lead the Workload Planning process, conduct reviews, and identify development opportunities for your team. Additionally, you'll recruit, interview, and retain quality associates to maintain a high level of store morale.

Buying Responsibilities: Let your keen eye for trends and your passion for curating the perfect collection shine in your buying responsibilities. From maintaining retail and inventory procedures to selecting diverse and profitable products, you'll have the chance to drive sales, plan marketing strategies, and attend trade shows to stay on top of the latest industry trends.


Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years as a store manager in a gift boutique or apparel specialty store is required.

Experience with mid to upscale brands and buying/merchandising is required.

Understanding of accounts payable/receivable and general cashiering.

High school diploma required.
