Gemline is looking to hire a graphic designer to produce brand consistent content for email, print and digital channels. The ideal candidate will be creative with a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment. They will elevate existing visual tools and create new ones that support product, brand and company storytelling. The Graphic Designer will have at least 5+ years’ experience in the workplace, and have skills in designing for email, web, social media and print. This position reports to the Sr. Marketing & Communications Manager.


Key Responsibilities:


·                As a member of the marketing department, work closely with the team to deliver consistent, on-brand content in accordance with Gemline’s identity standards


·                Produce multiple emails each week with guidance from the digital team


·                Develop digital assets for advertisements, digital platforms and social media


·                Design print pieces, including flyers, product inserts, and hangtags for new and existing products


·                Edit images, including color corrections and image manipulation


·                Support Sr. Marketing & Communications Manager and Web marketing team on projects as needed


·                Collaborate and brainstorm for creative solutions with the team


·                Participate in Continuous Improvement Activities


Requirements/Qualifications:


·                BA/BS in Graphic Design or related field

·                Must have 4+ years of graphic design experience

·                Proficient in Adobe CS software suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and basic HTML experience

·                Demonstrated experience designing emails.

·                Experience effectively executing against brand guidelines and maintaining brand standards, including demonstrating considered layout, image composition, typography and color palette

·                Ability to manage time, prioritize and work independently under tight, and often changing deadlines

·                High level of organization, accuracy and attention to detail

·                Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively and adapt to changing priorities

·                Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills

·                Creative, energetic, personable and a team player

·                Knowledge of social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) and other online social networks

·                Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

·                A graphic design portfolio to showcase your variety of skills
