Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous Screen Print operations experience along with extensive knowledge of embellishment techniques and proper application.
  • Must have manufacturing experience overseeing production in a facility with multiple production lines.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated ability to manage and motivate large teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in setting the tone for a focused, positive, and productive/efficient printer staff
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage production, warehouse, and logistics on a day-to-day basis holding warehouse staff to management standards.
  • Must be proficient in all Screen Print production processes.
  • Regularly inspects and evaluates products to ensure quality standards are being met.
  • Maintains highest possible quality control and works actively to limit errors.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and print quality.
  • Must keep shop up to date on current trends and advances in screen printing technology. This includes but is not limited to new products, equipment and processes.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and how they interface with our front end systems and our outbound shipping platform.
  • Must have the ability to forecast and manage workloads, including prioritizing orders as needed.
  • Mentor and develop your team to meet goals and ensure success.
  • Manages subordinates by interviewing and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining.
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure that inventory control practices are in place and implemented, including regular cycle counts and a year end inventory stock take.
  • Maintain & promote standards of safety including OSHA in all production areas.


Work Environment:

  • Fast paced, high pressure.
  • This job operates in a professional warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 2 shifts per day, to insure service to customers. The Director of Operations is responsible for all production operations 24/7.
