About Us:

Cortes Immigration Law Firm is a high-quality boutique immigration law firm located in downtown Orlando, Florida. The focus of our firm is to provide representation in the process of permanent and temporary immigration, including the application for a Green Card, K1 Visa, EB-2 NIW, EB-5 Visa, and citizenship/naturalization to the United States.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Attorney to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an early career or experienced attorney to gain hands-on experience in immigration law. The ideal candidate will bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational abilities, to ensure effective client interactions and case management.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing and filing visa applications and petitions

- Provide guidance to clients throughout the visa application process, answering questions and addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy

- Maintain organized records of client documents, case files, and deadlines

- Research regulations and case law to support case strategies and client advisories

- Work collaboratively with our legal team to ensure timely and accurate processing of all case

- Perform other related duties as assigned


Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association

- Prior experience in immigration law is preferred but not required

- Strong interpersonal skills to build client trust and effectively communicate complex information

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and filings
