Job Summary

Division Order Tech position responsible for supporting the Land Administration department. This position will work closely with the Senior Division Order Analyst and responsibilities will increase with experience and on-the-job training. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver and can work in a structured environment with direction from senior staff. The position requires the ability to work both independently and within a team utilizing departmental processes. This position will report to the Supervisor of Land & Land Administration.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process incoming Division Orders from owners
  • Process non-op Division Orders from partners
  • Send out Division Order after Ownership transfers have been completed by SDOA
  • Receive and review documentation for Ownership Transfer and review for accuracy
  • Prepare Ownership Transfers for SDOA to process
  • Work with SDOA on entire Escheat process and train to become project lead
  • Prepare and track all Due Diligence correspondence for Escheat
  • Scanning and filing land admin documents
  • Respond to elevated requests from Owner Relations and Land Assistant
  • Prepare and send out acquisition letters and Division Orders for new assets
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including potential simultaneous multiple projects, in alignment with overall Land Department goals

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university


Preferred Qualifications


  • 0-4 years of relevant experience with an active oil and gas exploration company (a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered)
  • Understanding of Land concepts and Division Order responsibilities
  • Previous experience in Division Orders or Land Administration
  • Experience with land data systems
