WHY THIS JOB: ACCOUNTING MANAGER

This high-end architecture and design company specializing in woodworking is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its team. Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting functions, supervising daily activities to ensure accurate financial records and statements. This company is employee-focused and empowers its employees at all levels. This role will expand in tandem with the company's planned growth over the next few years.


What You’ll Actually Do:

  • Supervise and lead the accounting team
  • Implement and uphold accounting methods, policies, and principles; develop and sustain internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance procedures
  • Close financial reporting periods to produce financial statements; collaborate with department leadership for monthly financial statement production
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of all Balance Sheet accounts
  • Establish financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards in coordination with department leadership
  • Handle company payroll processing
  • Serve as the liaison with the external CPA firm


To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelors in Accounting or similar experience
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
  • Experience processing Payroll
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • QuickBooks & experience with ERP
  • Experience working with EOS
  • Experience in Public Audit


Where and How Much:

  • Target Compensation $80K - $100K + Discretionary bonus
  • In-office with flexibility – Lafayette, CO
