Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to provide comprehensive validation, change management, and system administration support for laboratory systems deployment. The role involves offering technical guidance, managing incident support, ensuring application performance, and developing documentation to support laboratory systems.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Validation and Change Management: Provide validation and change management support throughout the deployment of Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) and related systems.
  • System Administration: Oversee system administration tasks for laboratory system deployments, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to best practices.
  • Technical Guidance: Offer expert advice and guidance on Laboratory IS/IT requirements, helping to define technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Incident Management: Support incident management processes as needed, troubleshooting issues and facilitating resolution.
  • Application Support: Assist with monitoring laboratory application performance and addressing issues related to label printing and system functionality.
  • Problem Identification and Solutioning: Proactively identify operational and technical gaps within the system, proposing solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Communication and Training: Provide communication and training support through various media (e.g., intranet, online training modules) to ensure proper system usage and knowledge sharing.
  • Documentation Development: Create and maintain a variety of technical and business process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical manuals, installation guides, user manuals, and business practices.
  • Document Processing: Administer and manage documents through the established Document Processing Review process, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.


Qualifications:


Educational Requirements:

  • Doctorate or Master’s Degree with 3 years of clinical experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of clinical experience, OR
  • Associate Degree with 10 years of clinical experience, OR
  • High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of clinical experience.


Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) and related technologies (e.g., Laboratory Management Electronic Smart Lab systems) required to support deployment and ongoing support activities.
  • At least 10 years of functional experience, including leadership of Laboratory IS/IT projects and experience with managing change controls within an eQMS (electronic Quality Management System).


Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing computer system validation (CSV) for Quality Control (QC) systems and supporting the system post-deployment in a live production environment.
  • Proficiency in the administration and support of laboratory systems.


Skills:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong technical writing skills, with experience creating user manuals, technical documentation, and process documentation.
  • Experience working in regulated environments, with a solid understanding of document version control practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
