The panel has been designed to address the needs of advertisers, who want to understand and plan campaigns across digital and broadcast platforms (from TikTok to CBS to YouTube) – we’ve pulled together all our latest thinking, our most up-to-date meters, and our relationships with the online publishers such as Google and Meta, and the result is something that we believe is the future of audience measurement.

Job Details

The Training and Support Manager has the very important role of training new Service and Installation Executive who joins the team and developing the skills of the existing team. In addition, they support the remote installation and maintenance of the metering solutions deployed in panel member homes; and help identify solutions for common problems causing installations to fail.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Carry out and support the technical training of new and existing members of staff.
  • Support Service and Installation Execs on the more complex metering solutions requiring bespoke configuration.
  • Resolve or escalate any problems related to monitoring equipment in panel homes.
  • Publish technical updates to the team to ensure that the latest version of software is being used; and push upgraded software and firmware to equipment deployed in panellist homes.
  • Support user acceptance testing of new versions of meter software.
  • Maintain or assist with maintenance of Kantar technical documentation and manuals.
  • Take responsibility for all metering installations at client offices or at other non-panel locations.
  • Validate details of new vacancies and assist with the recruitment process.

Your profile and key skills we are looking for

  • Technical Skills - Detailed knowledge of TV and peripheral technology, internet connected devices (tablets, PC, Smartphone, routers). A good knowledge of media connectivity methods. Demonstrable experience of A/V systems and installations in domestic environments.
  • Communication - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal stakeholders and panel members.
  • Manage - Ability to work unsupervised and remotely, making work schedules as required.
  • Collaboration - Work as a member of a large team, which may involve overnight stays away from home at times to support the wider field force.
  • Customer Service - Displays an understanding of the sensitivities to customer’s organizational realities and relationships to accomplish goals.
  • A thorough understanding of A/V routing (scart, RGB, Composite video, HDMI etc).
  • Experience of A/V systems / installation in domestic environments.
  • Detailed knowledge of TV and peripheral technology.
  • Previous experience of customer service.
