Position Summary

We are seeking a Freelance Senior Event Producer to oversee all aspects of events from inception to completion. This role involves developing innovative concepts, creating executable plans, managing operations, overseeing project timelines, directing staff, and coordinating technical and production teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop creative ideas and concepts for events
  • Create and manage project timelines and budgets
  • Oversee operations and direct staff
  • Coordinate technical and production teams
  • Ensure financial profitability while delivering value to clients
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience: 7+ years of proven event production experience
  • Management: 4 years of supervisory experience
Skills
  • Strong project management capabilities

  • Leadership and coaching abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional organizational skills and self-motivation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Apple applications, team project software, and social media platforms

  • Thorough understanding of permitting standards (TPA, Special Event, Fire, Health & Safety, Building & Safety, Noise)
  • Ability to manage production timelines related to permit procurement
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects/clients
  • Capable of remaining stationary for 50% or more of the time
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual abilities (preferably Spanish)
  • Experience in specific event niches (sports, music, theater)
  • Proficiency in CAD
