This company has experienced rapid growth in its online business, creating a need for infrastructure and strategy around e-commerce and digital operations. The Senior E-Commerce Project and Digital Marketing Manager will play a critical role in building the next-generation website, along with scalable processes that support continued expansion. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to innovate, enhance automation, and integrate systems, helping to create a seamless online experience that positions the company for long-term success.
Role and Responsibilities
- Enhance Brand Visibility: Develop and execute strategies to increase product and brand visibility across e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Home Depot, Wayfair, Walmart, and others.
- Lead Digital Marketing Strategy: Define, implement, and optimize a direct-to-consumer digital marketing strategy across all online channels, ensuring campaigns meet established KPIs and deliver actionable insights.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Establish and monitor KPIs, providing performance insights to guide eCommerce and marketing strategies, ensuring data supports all decision-making processes.
- Team Building and Management: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing e-commerce team that can analyze data, create reports, integrate and secure digital platforms, and support automation initiatives across departments.
- Budget Control: Manage and allocate resources effectively within budget, continuously optimizing spend to maximize ROI.
- Product Content Management: Develop solutions to manage product content for a catalog of over 2,000 SKUs, ensuring consistency and accuracy across multiple retail websites.
- Project Prioritization and Management: Oversee project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring successful completion of complex initiatives while balancing multiple priorities.
- Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Campaign Oversight: Oversee PPC campaigns, ensuring they are optimized for performance, managed within budget, and aligned with broader digital marketing goals.
- Partnership Development: Build and nurture relationships with e-commerce platforms and third-party vendors, consistently exploring new digital opportunities to expand market reach.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Regularly report campaign effectiveness, insights, and opportunities for optimization to senior management.
- Innovation and Improvement: Continuously test new digital tools, analyze trends, and propose improvements based on historical data to drive growth and performance.
SKILLS
- Strong familiarity with tools like Asana, Trello, or Monday.com for project management, and Google Analytics or other data analytics platforms for insight and reporting.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced data manipulation (e.g., VLOOKUPs) and reporting.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a track record of meeting tight deadlines.
- A proactive leader of change who can drive transformation initiatives effectively within a dynamic business environment.
- Commitment to staying updated on industry trends and learning new software as needed.
- Familiar with vendor portals
- Familiar with ERP systems (Preferred)
- Always increasing knowledge of all Merola products
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience in e-commerce management on platforms like Amazon (1P and 3P), Wayfair, Home Depot, and Walmart.
- Experience in the tile or flooring industry is a plus

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Proven track record in managing complex e-commerce and digital marketing projects.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in e-commerce and digital marketing, with a strong record of managing complex projects.
- At least four years of experience in team management.
- Strong familiarity with project management and data analysis tools.
- Proven experience in website management, including technical structure, UX, content, and brand promotion.
Physical Requirements:
