Responsibilities

  • Operate workplace management systems
  • Oversee all fire alarm and other life safety systems and equipment
  • Maintain all building systems and infrastructure
  • Execute all aspects of maintenance/engineering operations
  • Keep Chief Engineer apprised of all operational issues daily
  • Maintain confidentiality of all members and Club information
  • Follow grooming and uniform standards established for this role
  • Work as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workers
  • Ensure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environment
  • Perform all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors


Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience actively serving in a facilities maintenance/engineering role in a hotel or private club environment
  • Technical experience in building trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergency situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments and multi-task
  • Possess good computer skills
  • Punctuality and regular attendance.
  • Must be dependable and available to work within the club on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
  • Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite, and energetic
