Primary Job Duties:

  • Offer hands-on support and mentorship to peers and other team members.

  • Design and definition of roadmaps
  • Standardization of processes and methodologies
  • Collaboration with other developers and architects to drive guidelines, methodologies, and documentation.
  • Partner with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive project communication, support, and delivery.
  • Stay informed on trends, relevant software development technologies, and methodologies.


Job Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in DB2 for z/OS or Oracle databases, including SQL.
  • Expertise in Computer Associates’ CA Gen workstation toolset for web server, online, and batch procedures.
  • Knowledge of Computer Associates’ CA Gen Com Proxy service.
  • Skilled in Active Server Pages (Classic ASP) web development using VB and J-script.
  • Familiarity with IBM Z-Server, CICS, JCL, and COBOL.
  • Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining software systems handling complex financial business processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Competent in balancing multiple demands, working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of conducting complex systems analysis and translating user requirements into business solutions.
  • Ability to integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills for guiding development teams.
