Job Description: As a Construction Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules for construction projects with budgets exceeding $30,000,000. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project timelines are adhered to and that any potential delays are identified and addressed promptly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to establish project timelines and milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual progress.
  • Identify and analyze potential schedule risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports and updates to stakeholders, highlighting critical path activities and potential delays.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks.
  • Assist in the development of project planning documents and scheduling guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Support project managers in resource allocation and workload balancing.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling for large-scale construction projects with budgets over $30,000,000.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Certification in project scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP) is a plus.
