Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Real Estate Counsel to join our client's team in Cleveland, Ohio. As the Commercial Real Estate Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance and support in various real estate transactions and matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate documents, including leases, purchase agreements, and financing documents.
  • Conduct due diligence and manage legal aspects of real estate transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including developers, lenders, and brokers.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting commercial real estate.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Ohio Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
  • 5+ years of experience practicing commercial real estate law, preferably with a focus on transactions.
  • Strong understanding of real estate finance, leasing, and development.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
