A growing, dynamic law firm with a focus on complex litigation in the electronic payments industry is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our collaborative, fast-paced team. What We’re Looking For: An experienced paralegal with 6+ years of California civil litigation experience, particularly in state and federal court. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining flexibility. You will work directly with attorneys, clients, and external counsel, ensuring that deadlines and tasks are meticulously managed.


Responsibilities


  • Manage cases end-to-end, from filing deadlines to post-judgment matters.
  • Prepare, draft, and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Assist in legal research, case preparation, and the development of strategies.
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and local counsel.
  • Maintain accurate time entries, billing, and records for all case-related tasks.
  • Prepare subpoenas, and assist with filing, serving pleadings and motions.
  • Work with templates and local counsel for cases filed in other states.


Qualifications


  • Paralegal Certificate (required).
  • 6+ years of experience in civil litigation (required).
  • Familiarity with California court rules, ECF filing procedures, and legal research.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Adobe DC, Trello, and timekeeping programs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
