Responsibilities:

• Managing active cases by reviewing their status and prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and client needs.

• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members through various channels to discuss case developments, strategies, and next steps.

• Conducting legal research to understand relevant laws, regulations, and precedents that apply to ongoing cases or issues that arise during litigation.

• Preparing various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses to court orders.

• Representing clients and arguing motions before judges in court hearings, proceedings, and trials.

• Conducting and/or attending depositions of witnesses, experts, and parties involved in the case to gather evidence and obtain testimony.

• Engaging in settlement negotiations with opposing parties or their attorneys to resolve the case outside of court, when possible.

• Managing the discovery process, including drafting, and responding to interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admission.

• Meeting with clients to provide updates on their cases, discuss strategy, and address any questions or concerns they may have.

• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and refine legal strategies for each case, including evaluating risks, identifying potential outcomes, and making strategic decisions.

• Analyzing evidence, witness testimony, and legal arguments to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the case and make informed recommendations to clients.

• Reviewing documents, evidence, and exhibits provided by opposing parties to identify relevant information and potential legal arguments.

• Preparing trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and other materials needed for court appearances and trial proceedings.


Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney experience

• Must be barred in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, or Texas

• Able to travel for cases 3-4 times a year (cases typically last around a week) and work on Central Time Zone


This position is direct hire, has a competitive base salary with a discretionary bonus, offers a comprehensive benefit package, and is 100% remote with occasional travel.
