Senior Sales Consultant, Luxury Interior Design

Our client, a luxury design gallery, is hiring a Senior Sales Consultant, Luxury Interior Design to join the team at their NYC design house. Candidates must have availability to work a full-time schedule (Monday through Friday from 10 AM – 6 PM) including alternating Saturdays (except for in the Summer) and additional hours as needed for events and work-related tasks.
Job Duties Include:
- Act as representative for the brand including speaking about program with visitors, collectors, and interior designers
- Identify key targets and deliver sales strategy
- Partner with associates to compile sales collateral
- Maintain client database and record activity/interests
- Generate invoices and track payment
- Deliver sales reports and leads analysis on a regular basis
- Oversee production, international shipments, and installation of artworks
- Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- 2+ years of experience in a senior sales position at another art/design gallery, interior design firm or auction house required
- Excellent communication etiquette
- Passion for contemporary art and design
- Degree in Art History or related field preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite and Mac skills
- Knowledge of ArtLogic and Basecamp is a plus
- Ability to speak Italian and/or French is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. stand for duration of shift
Salary: $90k - $100k + commission
