Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing digital solution to our clients by offering commercial lending products.
  • As part of our global team you will be responsible for the specification, development, testing, delivery and support of client business in the role of a hands-on technical lead, working with Kafka, on-prem micro services, Mongo DB, vendor systems and external systems.
  • You are expected to contribute to the vision and roadmap, and a world-class engineering culture, while integrating business value and client experience within the team.
  • This initiative is of critical importance to the success of the organization and our roadmap.
  • We expect a successful candidate to have excellent communication skills, deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering.
  • The role involves troubleshooting, improving existing systems, and ensuring the operational excellence.

Prerequisite:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience using a modern programming language (preferably Java) .
  • BS. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience) .
  • Team oriented, strong interpersonal & communication skills and stakeholder management of executives (technology and business) .
  • Experience in REST and/or GraphQL .
  • Experience with Spring and Kafka.
  • Experience in working with data-bases – NoSQL and/or Relational.
  • Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Comfort with Agile operating models (practical experience of Scrum/Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with microservice based architecture.
  • Experience with MongoDB.
  • Experience in Lending product or ledger system.
  • Experience in Financial Services or Fintech.
