Responsibilities:

  • Participate in implementation and deployment of new technologies. The candidate will be trained on site in support of the assigned Windsor Storm Team storm role.
  • A strong understanding of cellular networks including GSM (ATT), CDM (Verizon) and others is required.
  • This thorough understanding is necessary to identify network problems and recommend improvements to ensure optimal performance.


Skills:

  • Experience with the following is expected: Cisco Routers / Switches & MPLS, F5 load balancers, Solar Winds Performance and Configuration Manager, Ciena Optical Gear - SONET & DWDM, River Bed Network Optimization, Checkpoint Firewalls, Juniper Firewalls (SRX/NSM/IC/Junos Space), Trustwave Proxy, RSA Secure ID, Niksun.
  • Knowledge of power system components as it applies to 12kV electric utility systems is preferred, but not required.
