Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in providing technical support and expanding the operations of Koerting US Corporation in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex projects.
MUST HAVE VACUUM TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
- Handling technical inquiries and preparation of proposal.
- Conduct technical presentations and training for customers and perspectival for internal teams.
2. Project Management:
- Lead and oversee customer projects from concept to commissioning.
- Ensure timely and on-budget delivery of projects.
3. Customer Support:
- Provide technical consultation and support to customers on the application and optimization of our products.
- Conduct on-site visits to discuss technical inquiries
- Conduct on-site visits for troubleshooting and commissioning support.
4. Product Development:
- Contribute to the development and adaptation of our products to meet the specific needs of the U.S. market.
- Collaborate with the R&D team in Hannover to develop innovative solutions.
5. Market Observation and Analysis:
- Collect and analyze market information to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support the development of market entry strategies and competitive analysis.
Requirements:
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Additional qualifications (e.g., MBA) are a plus but not mandatory.
2. Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Experience in managing technical projects and collaborating with international teams.
3. Technical Knowledge:
- Solid knowledge in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or process engineering.
- Familiarity with the products and services of Koerting Hannover GmbH is a plus.
4. Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and international environment.
5. Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel regularly within the USA and occasionally to Hannover.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus.
