Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at All For Kids Pediatric Clinic in Anchorage and/or in Eagle River; full-time, part-time and PRN opportunities are available. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to children with various developmental and sensory needs. The therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for each child. Additionally, the therapist will provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers to promote carryover of therapy goals at home and in other settings.
Qualifications
- Occupational Therapy Degree and Licensure
- Experience working with children in a pediatric setting
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for promoting child development and well-being
- Certification in Pediatrics or related field
- Experience with sensory processing disorders and knowledge of sensory integration interventions
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual needs
