Position: Account Executive
Reports To: Regional Director of Sales

Position Overview:
Heritage is seeking a dynamic and strategic Account Executive to join our team. This role is focused on new business development, building strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless event execution. If you are driven, results-oriented, and passionate about the trade show industry, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities, aiming to grow revenue by 15-20% annually.
Sales Pipeline: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through market research, networking, and attending industry events.
Proposal Submission: Prepare and submit proposals for exhibit booth tradeshows and other events.
Event Networking: Attend tradeshows, site visits, and networking functions to build relationships and expand business opportunities.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project planning, execution, and profitability.
Event Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly from start to finish.
Production Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive production plans, including labor scheduling, equipment rentals, and logistics.
Client Management: Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring excellent service and addressing issues proactively.
On-Site Oversight: Conduct on-site visits to oversee logistics, resolve potential issues, and ensure client expectations are met.
Pre-Show Coordination: Oversee pre-show meetings to align teams, streamline operations, and maintain project timelines.
Profitability Management: Manage event profitability by monitoring budgets, costs, and ensuring timely invoicing.
Internal Partnership: Partner closely with internal teams, including Project Managers, Production, and Operations, to ensure project success.
Client Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients and team members, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
Project Overview: Regularly review project details, cost estimates, and specifications to ensure alignment and success.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and creativity.
Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.
A proven track record in sales, preferably in the event or trade show industry.
Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, business development, or project management, ideally within the trade show or event industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to meet client needs.
Experience in the trade show or event production industry.
Established network within the event planning community.
Experience with large-scale project management.
Knowledge of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
