Bright AV is an AV Production company based in Denver, Colorado. We’re looking for a Director of Sales to join our quickly growing Audio Visual Production team. Prior experience in a similar role is required. About the Candidate:


The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, and has strong AV production technical acumen. The DOS will be responsible for leading and managing our sales department, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic sales plans. This role involves managing a team of four direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales culture, and ensuring account and client satisfaction.

About the Position:


  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Lead, manage and mentor a sales team, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their individual and team goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop opportunities to develop strategies to expand Bright AV client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Partner with leadership and People Ops on performance management of direct reports, fostering an environment of open communication and ongoing feedback.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing and production teams to create compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
  • Represent Bright AV at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.


*Must be willing to travel up to 30-40% of the time.

Qualifications:


  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the audiovisual and production industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM software is a must.


Compensation: The annual salary for this position starts at $110,000 plus bonus DOE. Final offers are commensurate with prior experience, your specific skill set, and may vary from the amount above.
