Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:

  • Assist with the hiring process including but not limited to posting job descriptions, scheduling interviews, applicant tracking, and following up with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Assist in the onboarding process with entering new hires into the HRIS, scheduling orientations, and processing I9s
  • Partner with the HR team to facilitate the off-boarding process
  • Create content such as PowerPoint, Word documents, or various reports for internal company meetings and the HR team
  • Liaise with the hiring managers to ensure their hiring needs are being met
  • Assist with LinkedIn Learning administration ranging from adding new hires to running reports
  • Provide front-line support to employees by responding promptly to inquiries and guiding them to the appropriate information, resource, policy, or other HR team member
  • Maintain, organize, and upload files in our HRIS, Planner, and SharePoint
  • Coordinate with the HR team on all admin tasks
  • Maintain effective communication with all affected stakeholders
  • Additional ad hoc responsibilities as they arise

Requirements of the HR Assistant:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a human resources or other administrative role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple roles at a time
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to details, and extremely responsive
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written with employees, managers, and colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and highly sensitive information
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining an elevated level of accuracy
