Job Title: Staff Advanced Manufacturing EngineerLocation: Onsite , Chicago, IL 60626Start Date Is: 2 weeks from offerDuration: Full Time/ PermanentSalary: $145-165k base plus 10% bonusThe Staff Engineer - Advanced Manufacturing is responsible for advancing production processes to meet strategic initiatives across the company. This role will drive design and implementation of manufacturing systems with a focus on new technology and innovation in alignment with company goals. A successful Senior Engineer – Advanced Manufacturing is a self-motivated, results-driven team-member with the ability to plan and execute projects to meet business targets. The position requires a leader and collaborator; that is ambitious, organized, detail-oriented, and excels in project management.Key Responsibilities:Process Development: Lead project team through Production Preparedness Process (3P) events to analyze, design and implement manufacturing systems that meet SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics and long-term value stream strategy.Project Management: Lead a cross-functional team of professional engineers and other supporting roles responsible for planning and executing projects that achieve the objectives of Production Operations.Process Innovation: Research and select suppliers and other vendor partners with a focus on driving identification and adoption of new technology to advance manufacturing processes in alignment with customer expectations and company goals.Project Reporting: Present project statuses to leadership using data driven analysis to inform process, equipment, and production decisions. Monitor project and process targets, recommending strategic changes when needed to meet deadlines.Budget Management: Own project capital budgets of $10M+, including estimating costs and ROI, controlling expenditures and reporting performance to target.Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the cross-functional team to drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance the quality of processes within the Manufacturing Engineering function and ensure results directly support improved customer satisfaction.Compliance: Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.Education:RequiredBachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering degree with equivalent experience PreferredMaster's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
