About this Role

The Benefit Coordinator is responsible for administering day-to-day operations of Insight Global’s group benefit plans, benefit functions, including system administration, auditing, team strategy, compliance, vendor management, training, and Open Enrollment.


Every day on the job will look a little different but will require you to work in a fast-paced environment to assist employees on any number of issues, initiatives, and project that may arise. This position is challenging yet rewarding because the Benefit Department’s role is to ensure that Insight Global’s most important asset – its people – are being nurtured and supported throughout their employment


What You'll Do

• Serve as one of the main point of contact for Insight Global’s internal and contracted employees

• Help to assist with daily member benefit related issues

• Provide current and prospective employees with information about the benefit offerings available to both internal and contractors

• Provide quality assurance with benefit related audit controls

• Maintain benefit email inbox and provide responses to questions within 24-48 hours

• Help to promote benefit related communications to Insight Global employees

• Manage multiple benefits related processes and projects for the company and stakeholders

• Support and maintain relationships with vendors/carriers

• Guiding employees through the Qualified Life Event Process

• Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and communicate with them regularly;

• Assist with Open Enrollment related tasks: file testing, employee communications, and company-wide trainings

• Work closely with the rest of the HR team, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, and Communications team


What You'll Need to Succeed

• Ability to work on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where independent action, judgment and a degree of initiative are required.

• Requires a strong combination of analytical, decision making, and interpersonal skills.

• Well-developed team skills and the experience, confidence and presence to effectively manage interpersonal relationships

• You are patient, level-headed and cool under pressure

• Expert written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to effectively give performance feedback

• Strong organization skills, self-motivation, and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Experience building, implementing and strategizing Benefit processes


Must Have's

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study preferred.

• Minimum 1-2 years of Benefits experience

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, excel, word, powerpoint

• Must be willing to relocate to IG headquarters in Atlanta, GA (timing negotiable)
