Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role with the growing events team at Long Shadows Vintners. As an Event Attendant, you'll be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to winery events such as set up and tear down for event spaces, welcoming guests, serving wine, and providing exceptional customer service. Event Attendants will also help with event clean-up, ensuring a smooth experience for all attendees, and setting up the following day's service team for success. This will be a role with highly flexible hours due to the nature of event scheduling. Ideal for anyone looking to work part time (mostly evenings) and supplement their current work arrangements.


Qualifications

  • Experience in events, hospitality, or customer service is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills, and high level of dedication to guest experience
  • Ability to work well in a team and be punctual
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge or interest in wine is a plus, but not required
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods of time, lift 50lbs and navigate stairs
  • Reliable transportation is required. Team members must be able to drive to the Tasting Room or other off site venues as required
  • Valid MAST and Food Handler's Card
