As a Senior Programmer/Analyst with Resource Data, you’ll help design and develop software solutions that elevate enterprise systems efficiency, performance, and value. You’ll join a team of high-achieving technical consultants and help provide solutions to our clients' most challenging enterprise IT problems. The team you will join is responsible for ongoing support for reporting and analytics of subsurface well and geological data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver solutions with Agile project teams that adhere to business needs, technical requirements, workflow, budget, timeline, and resources
  • Provide subject matter expertise in building estimates, proposals, and architectural trade-offs
  • Reverse engineer legacy applications primarily built in Excel VBA scripting
  • Performing database structure analysis (SQL Server and Oracle), application documentation, and general application support
  • Support data and analytics needs by creating data objects, manipulating SQL, and employing CRUD operations

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in Python, C#, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and SQL
  • Experience developing custom software solutions on an Agile software development team
  • Proven track record in consulting, advising, or working directly with clients on technology-driven projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field
  • Experience consulting directly to customers in a client-facing role
