- Set up low voltage devices.
- Wire the device safely and accurately.
- Test that device works properly after repair.
- Comply with safety regulations to ensure accurate installation.
- Install, terminate and test cables, coax, 25 pair, and mod plugs
- Phone repair type work
- Install, terminate and test data jacks, face plates, mod plugs, and fiber optic connectors
- Read and comprehend blueprints/floor plans
- Data closets build out, data racks, ladder rack, and back boards.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable speaking with customers in a construction environment as well as a professional setting
- Must be able to climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, lift an excess of 50lbs
- Quick thinker and problem solver
