Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of CDI experience for an inpatient/acute care medical coding team
  • BSN/ RN license
  • Comfortability to work remotely at home
  • Good personality and communication

  • Vizient software experience (strong plus)
  • CCDS certified
  • CCS certified

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist for their Healthcare customer in New Jersey. This person will help joining a growing Second Level Review team to help do medical billing reviews. This team will be responsible for all medical billing that has been submitted to payers, to double down on excellency for medical coding. This role will require a 4-6 week onsite training in Edison, NJ when first starting, but will alleviate to a full time WFH policy indefinitely after. This person must have an RN license in previous working history.
