Key Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys and partners as needed with typing, meeting notes, digital dictation, research
  • Document management, scanning, filing, uploading
  • Process 706 Estate tax returns
  • Sort and deliver mail and packages, print labels, prepare labels and envelopes for mail and packages going out
  • Assist with billing and accounts payable
  • Enter timesheets for attorneys into the billing system
  • Run conflict checks for new clients, assist with research and setup of new clients
  • Administrative support to different departments and senior leaders as needed

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively, think critically, and problem-solve
  • At least 2 years of recent experience working in an administrative or office position with similar responsibilities
  • Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft office
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
  • Demonstrated track record of job stability in previous employment history, with a consistent tenure in previous positions

Compensation and Hours

  • Hours are 9-5, this is a 35 hour work week
  • This is a direct hire opportunity offering a full benefits package
  • Compensation will range from 60-70k annually depending on experience
