We have an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineer at our aerospace location in York, NE. The primary focus of this role is to provide shop floor and product support. You should be familiar with shop floor production flow and possess excellent organizational & communication skills.



Duties & responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the design, tracking and implementation of tools used in manufacturing setting
  • Work with a cross functional team to provide support to production shop floor
  • Investigate, incorporate and close out changes to manufacturing procedures using customer tools
  • Provide hardware Tracking and Status Update
  • Utilize customer tools to route products through shop floor from assembly to shipment
  • Assist in the documentation of standard practices
  • Communicate status of projects to Customer and all levels of Management
  • Work with a team of engineers on new product to provide ME support in stages from concept to test



The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:

  • Associate degree in technical field with 3-5 years’ experience
  • Exposure to the aerospace industry is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office required.
  • Experience with Auto Cad or equivalent required
  • Training in shop floor/manufacturing safety required
  • Experience with tool design a plus
  • Experience with GD&T a plus
  • Previous experience using SharePoint 2010 and SAP a plus
  • Ability to develop and present business correspondences required
  • Experience working in ambiguous situations, such as acting when all the information is not available, required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment but can also be self-directed required
  • Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen
