A Boston law firm is looking for a Professional Services and Marketing Assistant. The candidate will need to have about 1 to 3 years of professional office experience in a business office. The role is on-site from 8:30am-5:30p Monday-Friday and has potential for upward growth on the administrative side of the firm. They offer a full benefits package and bonus potential. Position is non-exempt, with minimal overtime paid after 40 hours worked each week when approved.


Status: Direct Hire

Salary: $50-55K DOE


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage small office kitchen and conference room duties (coffee machine, dishwasher, set-ups, breakdowns, restocking and ordering).
  • Perform general office support duties (refilling paper trays, clearing jams, tidying, and placing approved supply orders.
  • Perform conflict checks.
  • Collects, sorts, distributes, and processes daily office mail and packages; coordinates related deliveries.
  • Notifies building management as needed.
  • Works closely with business development department on various tasks.
  • Marketing/graphics background a plus
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Quick learner, willing to take initiative and a strong desire to grow professionally with the firm.
  • A bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional office experience in a business office
  • Microsoft office skills and aptitude to develop skills sets.
  • A pleasant and helpful demeanor.
  • Understands the importance of and presents self and maintains desk fitting of a professional front office setting.
  • Strong work ethic; good time management and dependable and reliable.
  • Open to learn and grow professionally in a professional office setting.
