A state client of ours is seeking a team member to function as an IT Compliance Analyst. The Analyst will be receiving audit requests, doing evaluations and assessments within the organization's IT systems to make sure they are compliant and regulated. They will be analyzing processes, developing documentation, and evaluating audits to support Governance initiatives. The Analyst will also assist in issue resolution, operationalizing Governance practices, creating and socializing IT Governance artifacts, such as IT audit finding reports, process flows etc. This position will also assist in extending the scope of ITD Governance, Compliance and Security Architecture.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Stakeholders in VDOT’s Information Security Office to analyze processes and develop documentation surrounding VDOT’s security best practices.
  • Interface with leadership to assist in creating and socializing governance artifacts / audit report findings to own conversations and suggest best practices moving forward.

Must-Haves:

- Knowledge and application of IT Compliance and Auditing best practices (5 years)

- Experience in business writing and presenting (5 years)

- Experience in Process Modeling and Policy Documentation (5 years)

- Knowledge of IT Governance and Compliance standards (5 years)

- Educational or Career Experience in Cybersecurity, Government technology implementation, IT Risk Management, IT Governance, or related field(s) (5 years)
