Our client in energy services is looking for Electrical Foremen to supervise and coordinate a team of electricians and ensure the successful completion of electrical projects. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Other Responsibilities Include:
- Supervise and coordinate day to day operations of internal install team.
- Plan and layout Scope of Work to ensure project completion.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards and procedures.
- Monitor the progress of projects by daily reporting to management, sales and the Project manager assigned to the project.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues.
- Train and mentor electricians in safety protocols and job skills.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment are available for projects.
- Monitor the work of their install crew to ensure the quality of work meets standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in electrical installation and wiring
- Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role
- Working knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Able to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Plusses:
- Experience working for Georgia Power or other electrical contracting competitors
- Valid electrician's license. (Preferred not required)
