Content Marketing Specialist

WHAT WE WILL ASK YOU TO DO:


Strategic

  • Work within the sales and marketing team to drive leads and measurable company growth
  • Display a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and emerging trends
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments and vendors to develop and deliver marketing content on time and budget
  • Play an essential role in the content strategy and hands-on daily content management for the company’s websites and e-commerce stores using Magento/Adobe Commerce
  • Fulfill and optimize the integration of the company’s marketing automation, e-commerce, Dynamics 365 CRM, and Business Central ERP systems utilizing various SaaS platforms
  • Have a vision for creative lead generation strategies and optimize user and customer experiences


Creative

  • Ideate and compose written content for social media posts & email marketing automation platforms
  • Write marketing content for brochures, ads, videos, blogs, white papers, feature articles & case studies
  • Create, post, and update content for the company websites using Magento/Adobe Commerce
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to compose and execute content following company brand standards
  • Work in tandem with our graphic designer to fulfill the company’s photography needs
  • Proof-read and edit all types of marketing and sales materials as well as product collateral
  • Design and develop customer education materials and lead generation strategies


Website

  • Play an integral content writing role in the company’s websites and integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution using Magento/Adobe Commerce
  • Work within the website platform daily to ensure content is current and correct
  • Monitor and troubleshoot website and e-commerce orders and issues
  • Assist in the development and deployment of SEO/SEM strategy to improve web traffic
  • Maintain the company’s compliance with global privacy legislation


Digital

  • Develop and deploy lead generation and educational programs using the company’s marketing automation platform for email, landing pages, automated campaigns, and account-based marketing using the Act-On platform
  • Support and grow company presence by monitoring and posting content on a variety of organic and paid lead acquisition channels including GlobalSpec, AZO Sensors, Direct Industry, BulkInside
  • Optimize, grow, and interact with the media contact database to enhance public relations and feature article opportunities
  • Create prospecting lists for the sales funnel using SalesIntel
  • Strategize and execute programmatic advertising by collaborating with MultiView


Social

  • Collaborate with VP marketing and graphic designer to create and manage paid advertising on Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Monitor activity on the company’s social media platforms and work with the graphic designer to develop posts and content to enhance engagement and grow the company’s social media presence
  • Monitor and report monthly on the performance of digital media and social marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement


CRM

  • Collaborate with marketing coordinator to oversee and analyze activity within the CRM
  • Understand how to update, manage, and maintain the integrity of CRM and MA databases on an ongoing basis
  • Address opt-outs and bounces to optimize deliverability, open rates, and digital reputation (Act-On, Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
  • Ensure all leads from the company’s digital and trade show marketing are entered into CRM and contributing to monthly reports


Events

  • Support the marketing coordinator in the preparation and execution of trade shows, webinars, and event management including pre-event publicity to drive traffic and post-event evaluation
  • Assist the human resources manager with the creation, promotion, and execution of company and employee events


WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:


  • A portfolio of prior work in marketing
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Four-year degree in journalism, marketing, web development, or related field
  • Experience in e-commerce website content development and day-to-day management
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Indesign and Photoshop
  • Experience using Magento and/or other ecommerce website content management platforms
  • Background posting, monitoring, and reporting on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or YouTube platforms
  • Experience in Google PPC, Facebook, and LinkedIn advertising platforms
  • Adept working in Excel, CRM database management, and report development
  • Experience using marketing automation or email platforms
  • Strategic knowledge of SEO/SEM optimization practices
  • Experience using website analytics
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills and data-driven thinking
