The Role:
As Growth Marketing Lead, you will be the architect of acquisition at Pietra, driving innovative strategies across search, social, and SEO to inspire and engage e-commerce entrepreneurs. This role calls for someone who is deeply inspired by the DTC brands we support and who thrives on helping small businesses succeed in a competitive online landscape.
You’ll combine creative storytelling with analytical decision-making to create compelling content, scale organic reach, and optimize resources for maximum impact. Working closely with our leadership team, you will craft and execute strategies that turn vision into measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Act as Pietra’s chief storyteller, building and executing a marketing strategy across organic (content, SEO, social) and paid (search, social media) channels.
- Partner closely with the sales team to develop marketing initiatives that support lead generation and customer acquisition for B2B SMBs.
- Lead organic marketing efforts, including content marketing, SEO, and social media, with a focus on creating educational resources for entrepreneurs.
- Manage and optimize paid media campaigns across search, social, and other channels, ensuring effective customer acquisition and ROI.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and customer support teams to ensure marketing efforts align with the customer journey and drive growth across all stages.
- Build and manage a team of content creators and marketing specialists, scaling the function as the company grows.
- Analyze performance metrics across all channels and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns for growth targets such as ARR, customer acquisition, and payback.
- Champion Pietra’s cultural values and foster a collaborative, in-person team culture in New York City.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marketing experience with a strong focus on both organic and paid strategies, including content marketing, SEO, and paid search/social
- Proven experience in B2B marketing with expertise in targeting SMBs and partnering with sales teams to drive lead generation and acquisition
- Experience building and scaling content strategies that drive brand awareness, customer education, and engagement, particularly within the SMB sector
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working with sales, product, and customer support teams to create cohesive marketing strategies
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track, measure, and optimize marketing efforts for efficiency and performance
- Experience in e-commerce is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-person startup environment in NYC, with a focus on team collaboration
