About Us: Join the passionate team at the YWCA Contra Costa / Sacramento, where we're dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education. Our state-funded preschool/childcare program caters to children ages 2-5, and we're currently seeking an energetic Head Teacher/Site Supervisor to lead at our Bay Point location.
Employment Type: Full-time (8 hours per day), Immediate Opening
Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour (Depending on permit level and experience)

Responsibilities:
- Foster a nurturing environment by planning and implementing an inclusive, anti-bias curriculum.
- Engage children in activities that promote cognitive, physical, social-emotional, linguistic, and creative growth.
- Ensure compliance with Licensing and State Department of Education regulations and standards.
- Stay abreast of educational philosophy and standards to deliver high-quality education.
- Provide vigilant supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Conduct State-mandated Desired Results Developmental Profiles (DRDPs) and conferences twice yearly.
Qualifications:
- Hold a minimum of 24 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units and 16 General Education (GE) units.
- Possess a teacher permit or higher, or have eligibility to apply for one.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of educational philosophy and standards.
Requirements:
- Obtain fingerprint clearance.
- Maintain a clean DMV record.
- Complete physical and agility tests.
- Provide recent TB test results (or complete a test during physical examination).
- Ensure up-to-date immunization records: Flu, MMR, and TDAP shots.
