Quality Specialist


What you will be doing:

The Quality Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure the products and services meet company standards and customer expectations. They will collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement, develop quality metrics, audit current systems, and help drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams to enhance overall quality performance.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality standards and regulations compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Fabrication and CAD teams by facilitating communication, ensuring alignment, and bridging the gaps between these two crucial teams.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Review flat prints for any errors or inaccuracies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance activities, including audit findings, corrective actions, quality reports, and lessons learned documentation.
  • Communicate quality-related issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.


The ideal candidate:

  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.
  • First Principal Thinking.

Education:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance or process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer) are desirable but not mandatory.
